We Helped TisMisty make the quilt

TisMisty made a memory quilt for Clara with our help. We each bought a square of plain muslin in U.S.A. or homespun in NZ and OZ. We wrote a message in a square no bigger that 3 inches with  a waterproof laundry pen or paint. She made star blocks using the square as the center and sewed them together to make a quilt for Clara,  called a friendship quilt.

Here are pictures of some of the squares sent

Another set of squares for the quilt

This square went Nz to join the others.

Here is the final result - The beautiful finished quilt

Laurelee Says Thanks

Will you please post my thanks to all the friends who made this quilt possible. It is so beautiful....and means so much to me. I know Stunned was with me when I looked at it for the first time. I don't know what to say to you guys other than....thanks from the bottom of my heart...for the thoughts, the prayers and the memories. This is the friendliest group of people that I have met on the internet and the most thoughtful. I love you all for what you have meant to us. God bless each of you and may you have a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Clara
