X is our "bot. A bot is the protector of the channel. X has gone through many changes since the beginning of the undernet.   At first the purpose was to warn chatters of impending danger.

The next incarnation was an aid to channel managers. X would help protect the channel from take overs as well as give warnings and information to the channel managers. This was quite a task for on mere robot. Not to mention the lack of personality.

So finally, the undernet gods created the perfect robot to keep channels safe, as well as provide much entertainment and order to the cyber world. Below you will find a perfect likeness of the "bot" that is the bot of #40+coffeehouse...

She provides hours of entertainment as well as protecting the channel from unwanted intruders, floods, and takeovers. Be nice to her, as her job is extremely difficult.
